Three people died and 30 others injured in two separate traffic accidents due to fog on National Highway near Sakrand on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The first incident occurred when 12 cars collided with each other due to fog on the national highway near Daulatpur Bypass in Sakrand.

The second incident occurred within the gap of 30 minutes at Qazi Ahmed area on National Highway in Sakrand when a passenger lost his life on the spot where a truck and a passenger van collided.

National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) said injured persons have been shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

Sakrand is a taluka of the district Shaheed Benazirabad, near about 18 kilometers from the old Nawabshah city.
