ECP suspends 150 parliamentarians, legislators for non-submission of asset details

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Monday suspended the membership of 150 members of the parliament and provincial assemblies for non-submission of asset details

According to the 24News HD TV channel, among the suspended parliamentarians and other prominent names Hamad Azhar, Shafqat Mahmood, Fehmida Mirza and Amir Liaquat also included.

The ECP has also suspended the membership of Musaddiq Malik, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Pervez Ashraf, and Farrukh Habib.

As per the report, the ECP has suspended the membership of 3 senators, 36 members of the National Assembly, 69 members of Punjab Assembly, 14 members of Sindh, 21 members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 7 members of Balochistan Assembly.
