Rapist of 100 young boys arrested by police in Karachi

Police have arrested a serial rapist who was involved in sexually abusing more than 100 boys in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Unit Usman Sadozai said that Karachi police received a number of complaints regarding sexual abuse of boys from 2020 to 2025.

He revealed that during the DNA test, the samples were matched with the same person. The ages of all the victim boys were between 12 and 13.

SP Usman Sadozai said that after matching the samples with the same person police were alerted. He said that in one case it was detected that more than two people sexually abused one boy.

Additional Inspector-General (AIG)) Azad Khan constituted a police team that arrested the main accused, Imran, and his companion, Waqas Khan, on a tip-off provided by a victim boy, Tipu Sultan.

Earlier in September 2025, police arrested a man accused of molesting dozens of young girls from Karachi’s neighbourhood, Qayyumabad in the remit of Defence Police Station.

The area residents thrashed the man, namely Shabbir Ahmed and handed him over to the police. They claimed that the accused sexually assaulted young girls in the neighbourhood.
