Deputy Commissioner Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik has canceled the Eid holidays of district administration officials to keep the city clean during the three-day festivity, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Saturday.

All the staff of the district administration including the assistant commissioners will be on duty during the Eid days. The DC ordered the assistant commissioners to remain in the field to ensure the cleanliness of the city. 

The DC said that any sluggishness would not be tolerated in this regard. He asked the staff to play their role to keep the city cleans. 

The DC urged the citizens as well to cooperate with the staff of district administration to maintain cleanliness in the city. 

A meeting of district administration was held to discuss the arrangements regarding Eid. Chaired by DC Mudassar Malik, the meeting was attended by assistant commissioners, officials of LWMC, WASA, Civil Defense and police.
