A nine-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted by a quack doctor in Surjani Town, Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the suspect, identified as Barkat, was apprehended by local residents who, after physically assaulting him, handed him over to the Surjani Town police.

The victim, in her statement, recounted the harrowing experience, stating, "I was forcibly grabbed and rendered unconscious.

When I regained consciousness, my clothes were missing."

The Surjani Town police have confirmed that a case is being registered regarding the incident.

Additionally, a medical examination of the victim is being conducted to gather further evidence.

Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjhar has taken notice of the incident and has ordered detailed information from SSP West.

He emphasized the importance of a thorough investigation, ensuring that the suspect is brought to justice.

Lanjhar also stressed the need to ensure the safety and protection of the victim and her family during this difficult time.
