Pakistan Army launches nationwide rescue and relief operation in flood-hit areas

The Pakistan Army on Thursday launched a large-scale rescue and relief operation in the flood-affected areas across Pakistan.
Army aviation helicopters took part in rescue operations in most difficult terrains and rescued dozens of people to safety.
Three people were rescued in Chakri Rajan village and 27 in Chakwal and Khanpur through an air rescue operation.
In the Chak Monju area, rescuers helped 10 people to safety.
In Dhok Badar in Jhelum District, 31 people were rescued through a successful operation, while 38 people were rescued in Darapur through an air rescue operation.
