Share prices soar as index tocuhes 138,665 mark

The share prices at Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday soared heavily lifting the bourse to a new all-time high as the index touched 138,665 mark, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the intraday trading, the PSX’s benchmark KSE-100 index surged by 1,788.41 points or 1.31 percent to 138,168.37 points. While at the end of the trading session, KSE-100 index closed at 138665 points.
Experts believed foreign exchange reserve gains and mutual fund inflows fuelled the buyers’ optimism.
On Wednesday, the KSE-100 had increased by 440.1 points, or 0.32%, to 136,379.96 points.
