Crush controversy: Aima Baig demands apology for spreading fake news

March 17, 2023 11:02 PM

The local social platform FHM recently shared a false report of the Pakistani most talented singer Aima Baig about her first crush stating that she had a crush on her 7-year-old brother.

As soon as the netizens came to know the false news spread by the media outlet, they started criticizing the singer for having a crush on her 7-year-old brother.

Baig reacted angrily and demanded an apology from the local media outlet FHM for spreading fake news and defaming her in front of her huge fan base.

The social platform FHM had twisted the actual statement of Aima Baig which is absolutely disgusting and a sin.

Aima took to her Instagram and shared the actual old clip which was in an interview with Samina Peerzada. She shared the video to make the netizens clear about her statement.

In reality, what she said was that her brother is 7 years older than her and one of his friends with blue eyes was also her brother’s age and was also like her brother but she had a crush on him, not her own brother.

Concluding her statement she also said that “I thought at that time, yaar, what is this, I mean, is that even real? So that was my first crush. Other than that, you keep crushing on celebs. I don’t know why I never had that many Pakistani crushes, I always had a crush on Hollywood actors.”

She said that she usually doesn’t come forward to clarify her statements but this one caught her attention when her publicist sent this post.

“I am utterly disgusted by this yellow journalism. What creepy shameless, ideology they are sharing across,” she wrote, adding that she doesn’t know if they are spreading some shameless agenda but at least “don’t make me a part of this”, she wrote.

“I literally wanna throw up…Like seriously… kuch bhi for views. I mean seriously WORK HARD OR LEAVE ME ALONE. Shame on you guys,” she added.
