Lahore and other parts of Punjab received rain, which started late on Thursday night and continued till Friday in spans, reported 24NewsHD V channel. 

The rain was reported from parts of the provincial capital, including Garhi Shahu, Qila Gujar Singh, Mall Road, Davis Road, Ferozepur Road, Shalimar, Baghbanpura, Railway Station, Gawalmandi, Zaman Park, Race Course, Jail Road, in Sabzazar, Iqbal Town, Samanabad, Thokar Niaz Baig, Canal Road, and Muslim Town. 

Rain showers and cool wind turned the weather pleasant, and slightly chilly. 

Likewise, other parts of the province received showers, and observed partly cloudy weather with rain-wind, and thundershower, including Gujranwala, Narowal, Shakargarh and its adjoining areas, Kasur, Nankana Sahib and its suburbs, Talagang, Okara, Sahiwal and Attock. 

Rain and thunderstorms caused power outages and electricity disruptions in many cities. Feeders were tripped plunging various parts of the province into darkness.

Besides that, hailstorms also damaged wheat and gram crops in Punjab. 

Met Office has predicted that the rain showers are likely to continue in Punjab for next 24 hours.
