The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has been fined $250 as an air hostess flew to Canada without a passport, said a spokesperson.

The official clarified that the story of ‘vanishing’ the air hostess was untrue.

PIA Airhostess Samira flew to Canada on General Declaration documents, airline sources said, adding that the incident occurred on March 15.

The PIA air hostess, the insiders added, was on duty at an Islamabad-Toronto flight PK 781.

Rife in ‘disappearances’ of the national airline crew in Canada in the hunt for immigration has raised eyebrows.

More than 10 PIA air hostesses have vanished in Canada for the past two years 2 years, the sources said.
