Two professors and a college guard sustained injuries when a group of students opened fire on them at a Kasur college on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The firing incident occurred when the college security team barred the students from entering the college.

The verbal clash between students of a private college and guard turned violent when the outsiders fired shots when professors were already there to control the situation.

Three persons including Professor Malik Asghar, Professor Mirza Iftikhar and guard were injured.

The firing incident spread fear among the local community and students.

The injured persons were given medical treatment inside the college. Police reached the college and launched further investigation into the matter.
