Pakistan People’s Party is holding a powershow at Bagh-e-Jinnah in Karachi today on the eve of the 2007 Karsaz bombing aka Saniha Karsaz at the motorcade carrying former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto that killed 177 people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address the public meeting being held in connection with the 14th day of martyrdom of the Karsaz tragedy. The rally will start at 4.30 pm.

Pertinent to note that the bombing occurred two months before Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.

PPP jiyalas (party workers) in large numbers were off to Karachi from Hyderabad, Thana Bola Khan, Jhamshoro, and interior Sindh in caravans.

Party workers were carrying party flags and buntings to show their love for party leadership.

Police have placed containers around the Bagh-e-Jinnah as security measures and all kinds of traffic has been stopped from going towards Mazar-e-Quaid.
