Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said we have won Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) two seats in the by-elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

In a press talk held in Islamabad, he said that we are considering the by-election as our victory. “We have won the by-election as PTI has lost its two seats”, he hinted. 

 Khawaja Muhammad Asif said that the arrival of Nawaz Sharif is very important for Pakistan as he is only the man who can rescue the country in the present situation.  

He said the next General Election will be held as per schedule in the light of the Constitution. 

The minister said that the PTI chairman Imran Khan himself was fighting everywhere. Where Imran himself did not fight the election, the party lost, he added. 

Replying to a question, he said,” Shah Mehmood Qureshi is a great politician but his daughter lost the constituency”. 

To another question, he said, there is no such thing as MQM's displeasure.
