England removes Pakistan from ‘Red List’
England has removed Pakistan from the ‘Red List’, 24News HD TV channel reported on Friday.
According to the report, Pakistan remained on Britain’s red list for five months.
On Friday, eight countries including Pakistan, Turkey and Maldives had been removed from Britain’s red list.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and British High Commissioner Christian Turner helped a lot to get Pakistan off the red list.
Both the personalities were in constant touch with the British authorities for excluding the name of Pakistan from the list.
Pleased to confirm 🇵🇰 is off the red list. I know how difficult the last 5 months were for so many who rely on close links between 🇬🇧 & 🇵🇰. Grateful to @fslsltn @Asad_Umar & superb @nhsrcofficial @OfficialNcoc @NIH_Pakistan @drsafdar64 team for their close collaboration.— Christian Turner (@CTurnerFCDO) September 17, 2021
