The sad story pertaining to flood affectees in Khairpur, Nathan Shah unfolds itself like this: First, the worst kind of natural disaster hits them leaving them empty-handed, with no wherewithal. Secondly, they have to struggle a lot to lay their hands on the ration being distributed by government and other non-government organizations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The 24NewsHD TV has got the footage of one such incident in which it could be seen that a scuffle broke out among the receivers of flood handout as everyone wanted to get it. 

Seeing that the situation was getting out of control, the aid distributors resorted to violence on the ration collectors to stop their charge. They started beating them up with sticks and clubs. Even, a flood affectee got hurt in this disorder and received head injury.

The miserable Nathan Shah affectees alleged that they were being subjected to violence in the name of relief operation.
