Shehbaz coming to Pakistan on Sept 18, Maryam going to London next week

PML-N President and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to return to Pakistan from England on September 18 while Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz will be travelling to London next week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Sources said that the former prime minister would return on Monday and he has called a meeting of senior leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Tuesday.

The huddle would consider various suggestions regarding return of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan.

Members of PML-N legal team including Azam Nazeer Tarar, Attaullah Tarar and others would give briefing on the legal aspects that the elder Sharif would have to confront on his return to Pakistan.

During his visit to London next week, Maryam will hold talks with Nawaz Sharif aimed at a set of proposals regarding the welcome plan for the PML-N Quaid on his return to Pakistan next month.

According to sources, three proposals are being considered on Nawaz Sharif’s return which are visiting Data Darbar straight from Lahore Airport, a public rally at Minar-e-Pakistan and welcome outside the airport.

Maryam reaches Islamabad for consultative meeting

Meanwhile, a consultation meeting of the PML-N leaders will be held to discuss preparations for the reception to be accorded to Nawaz Sharif on his return.

PML-N Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz reached Islamabad today from Lahore for this very purpose.

Maryam will meet the officials of central and subsidiary organizations of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad.

Yesterday, a meeting of the former lawmakers and ticket holders was held in Lahore in connection with the preparations for the reception of PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif.

Maryam will preside over a meeting of the former members of provincial and national assemblies and ticket holders and will also meet the central officials of Islamabad, Rawalpindi region.
