Fans divided as Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol to headline Coachella 2026

The 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup has finally been revealed, and it’s already sparking heated debate among music lovers.

Organisers confirmed that Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G will headline the iconic festival, which is set to run April 10–12 and April 17–19 in Indio, California.

Joining the headliners is an eclectic mix of performers across genres, including electronic powerhouse Anyma, rapper Young Thug, indie favourites The xx, hardcore outfit Turnstile, avant-garde star FKA twigs, Addison Rae, and rising singer Ethel Cain. Music legends Iggy Pop, Moby and Devo also secured spots on the bill, while Radiohead appeared in a cryptic teaser hinting at The Bunker Debut of Kid A Mnesia.

Despite the star power, the lineup has left fans sharply divided. Some longtime festivalgoers expressed disappointment, with one writing on X (formerly Twitter): “This is quite literally the worst Coachella lineup I’ve ever seen and I’ve been going for a decade.” Another compared the roster to “someone leaving their iPhone on shuffle at a college party.”

Others lamented the lack of recognisable acts, claiming they had “no idea who 98% of these people are.”

Still, excitement remains high among dedicated fans. Beliebers erupted with joy at Justin Bieber’s official debut on the Coachella main stage. The two-time Grammy winner hasn’t performed a full concert in over three years, since cancelling his Justice World Tour in 2022 due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome. One fan tweeted: “JUSTIN BIEBER HEADLINING COACHELLA OH MY F**KING GOD.”

For Sabrina Carpenter, the milestone feels especially significant. While performing at Coachella in 2025, she told the crowd: “See you back here when I headline.” Fans now say she has “manifested” her headlining spot, calling it a full-circle moment.

Meanwhile, Colombian superstar Karol G will make her grand return to Coachella with her first major set since releasing her June album Tropicoqueta. She previously performed at the festival in 2022.

As always, Coachella’s ticket demand is expected to be fierce. Weekend passes, priced between $549 and $1,299, go on sale this Friday at 1 p.m. ET.

Whether critics love or hate the lineup, one thing is certain: Coachella 2026 will be one of the year’s most talked-about music events.
