Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz reaches Uch Sharif for flood review
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited flood-hit areas of Uch Sharif on Wednesday, where she inspected the Bhalla Jhlan protective dyke and assessed ongoing relief efforts.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, during her visit, the Chief Minister went to a flood relief camp, interacting with displaced families and listening to their grievances.
Maryam Nawaz also met with the families of those who lost their lives in the recent floods, offering condolences and assuring them of government support.
Officials accompanying the Chief Minister briefed her on the status of protective measures and the relief work underway in the region.
The visit was part of the Punjab government’s ongoing efforts to support flood victims and strengthen protective infrastructure to minimise future risks.
