In a recent interview, the actress confessed that she has been approached by some sports persons for 'general greetings' in inbox, deliberately remaining ‘tight-lipped’ about revealing their names throughout the period.

While being inquired about the nature of text messages she has been dealing with, the actress responded by saying:

“They are just general greetings like Hy, Hello, etc.”

But social media accounts twisted the statement to suit their own agenda and began creating sensational headlines.

In response, Momina Iqbal has clarified that her Instagram direct message exchanges with cricketers were simply friendly conversations and not to be sensationalized or turned into negative news.

She urged people to show respect to one another, avoid spreading false information, and refrain from trolling.

Additionally, the actress emphasized the importance of shifting focus to global issues that require significant attention, encouraging audiences to look beyond trivial matters and concentrate on more pressing concerns worldwide.
