Gen Bajwa, Saudi minister discuss security cooperation
Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday held detailed talks with Saudi deputy defence minister.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in Rawalpindi, the Army Chief discussed various issues with High Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salaman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, both the leaders deliberated upon a range of topics including matters of mutual interest including bilateral defence, security cooperation and regional security.

The COAS met His Excellency General (Staff) Fayiadh bin Ha’med Al-Rowaily, Chief of General Staff and His Royal Highness Lieutenant General (Staff) Fahad bin Turki Al Saud, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Military to military ties, including training exchanges, were the focus of the meetings.
Earlier, the COAS was received by His Excellency General (Staff) Fayiadh bin Ha’med Al-Rowaily, Chief of General Staff. The COAS was presented Guard of Honour at the Ministry of Defence, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
