Naqvi visits Nadra Center in Shahdara listens to public’s complaints

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday visited the National Database and Registration Offices (NADRA) office Kot Abdul Malik and the Passport Office in Shahdara, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi was informed that the NADRA Centre located in Kot Abdul Malick is closed for renovation work and only two mobile vans are operational sans internet.

He was further informed that people have to wait in long queues and the Helpline, which was established for redressal of people's grievances, miserably failed to provide any guidance to the people.

Mohsin Naqvi directed relevant officials to address all the complaints immediately. He also expressed his anger over the mismanagement of files and papers in the NADRA Center. He directed to transfer of all the records online.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the passport should be delivered as per the prescribed time. He said that a citizen can apply for a passport from any NADRA Center.

On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that a comprehensive policy is being adopted for the overseas Pakistanis for the preparation of passports.
