Most-wanted Lyari gang war commander killed in Iran
Most-wanted commander of the Lyari gang war, Faisal Pathan, was gunned down in Iran, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to details, the family members of Faisal Pathan were also present in the car at the time of firing, but they remained unhurt.
Faisal Pathan was a resident of the Chakiwara area of Lyari and was affiliated with Rehman Dacoit and Baba Ladla Group in the past.
Sources further revealed that after the death of Rehman Dacoit and Baba Ladla, Faisal Pathan joined Uzair Baloch's group.
Faisal Pathan shifted to Iran in 2013 during the Karachi operation. He was wanted by the police in different cases such as extortion, target killing, and kidnapping for ransom.
Faisal Pathan was running a criminal gang while residing in Iran, and his name was also included in the Red Book of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).
He was also nominated in the Raja Arshad murder case. After his death, a wave of harassment and fear also spread among other characters of the gang war who are hiding in Iran.
Police said that several most wanted criminals also went underground due to the police operation.
After hearing the news of Faisal Pathan’s death, a large number of his relatives reached his residence in Aansoo Goth area of Malir, Karachi.
