Fire destroys 8-acre sugarcane crop in Khanpur

Sugarcane crop spanning on eight-acre area in Khanpur’s village Chak 60-P caught fire on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The fire tender team of Rescue reached the site after getting information and extinguished the blaze.
However, crop worth rupees tens of thousands of a farmer burnt to ashes.
The reason of the fire eruption has not been ascertained as yet.
