Three labourers die after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning well in Quetta

 A tragic incident claimed the lives of three labourers, including two brothers, who were cleaning a well in Sabzal Road area  Quetta on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

According to rescue sources, the deceased were identified as Abdul Baqi, Abdul Wali and Muhammad Ali who entered into a deep well located at Sabzal Road one after the other but soon they became unconscious due to inhalation of the accumulated gas.

The locals, who noticed their silence, alerted the police and rescue officials, who arrived at the scene and retrieved their bodies in the evening.

According to the preliminary investigation, the labourers had no safety gear or equipment to protect themselves from the hazardous environment.

Police have registered a case of accidental death and are further probing the matter.
