Maria B hits back at Aurat March Organizers targeting her
The most famous and finest Pakistani fashion designer, Maria B defended herself after being targeted by the recent protest organized by the Aurat March Lahore organizers.
Responding to the protest, the successful businesswoman and renowned social activist, Maria B labeled it the "Qaum e Lout March" and the "Unsuccessful Women’s March."
Talking about it she said, “We have already rejected the Aurat March, Qaum e Lout March, and Unsuccessful Women March, what else can I say about it? I have seen all your placards against me and Mishi Khan. We can only question your upbringing through such acts. The public of Pakistan has rejected this so-called Aurat March. We know Pakistani women want to live their life according to Islamic teachings, they want to be independent and successful for their family. They want to become their family’s strength. They don’t want to be like you who are unsuccessful fashion designers, unsuccessful make-up artists, and Aurat March activists. I know you are living on the funding. You guys speak after getting funding so you only talk about the agenda you are funded for.”
According to the details, some people staged protests titled 'The Aurat March' on February 12 in Lahore following Pakistan’s National Women’s Day.
The rally was from the Press Club to the Faletti’s Hotel where the public raised slogans holding the placards that were designed against Maria B and former Pakistani actress Mishi Khan.
