The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has finalized its arrangements to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

As part of its preparations, LESCO has declared the areas surrounding Gaddafi Stadium as load-shedding-free.

To maintain a seamless power supply during the event, a special team has been formed, and Muhammad Tahir, Executive Engineer (XEN) of the Gulberg Division, has been appointed as the focal person.

Additionally, standby transformers have been placed at key locations to promptly address any power-related issues.

LESCO Chief Engineer Shahid Haider emphasized the significance of hosting the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan, calling it a moment of pride for the nation.

"Ensuring an uninterrupted power supply during this prestigious tournament is our top priority. We have taken all necessary steps to prevent any disruptions," he stated.

Haider further reiterated that LESCO is committed to providing its full support in making the tournament a resounding success. "We will take every possible measure to facilitate the smooth execution of this global event," he added.
