Ziddi Girls teaser out; Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor extend support for debutant Atiya Tara Nayak

The trailer for the eight-part teen drama Ziddi Girls is out. Soon after, Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Anil Kapoor took to Instagram to extend their support for debutante Atiya Tara Nayak.

Alia Bhatt shared the trailer on her Instagram stories, expressing her enthusiasm for Nayak’s debut. She wrote, "Can’t wait to see you shine @atiyataranayak," followed by a blue heart emoji.

Anil Kapoor posted the trailer, adding, "Matilda House is set for a revolution! Wishing @atiyataranayak and the entire team all the best for Ziddi Girls. Watch it on Feb 27! #ZiddiGirlsOnPrime."

Directed by Shonali Bose, Neha Veena Sharma, and Vasant Nath, Ziddi Girls revolves around Matilda House College, where tradition meets resistance as a bold new generation challenges established norms.

The campus becomes a battleground of ideologies, ambition, and defiance, but also highlights friendships and genuine connections.

The series features a stellar cast, including Simran, Nandita Das, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Lillete Dubey, and Revathy.

Newcomers Atiya Tara Nayak, Umang Bhadana, Zaina Ali, Deeya Damini, and Anupriya Caroli also make their mark.

Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd, Ziddi Girls will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on February 27.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Anil Kapoor are set to share the screen in Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail.
