PMD issues heatwave alert for next five days

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a heatwave alert from June 18 to 22 across most parts of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to the PMD, Sindh will mostly experience hot and humid weather, while Jacobabad is likely to face extreme heatwave. 

In Punjab, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Rajanpur while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu districts are also expected to face hot conditions. 

In Balochistan Sibi, Naseerabad, Dera Murad Jamali and Jaffarabad districts will have hottests weather during the next five days.
