Murree shut down for tourists

The Punjab government Apex Committee has decided to close Murree for tourists, mega shopping malls, including major shops by 10 PM in order to tackle the growing spread of coronavirus in the province.
Until now, as many as 33 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Punjab with seven being registered on Wednesday.
The crucial steps were taken in the Apex Committee meeting that extended the directives to the government institutions, asking them to give temporary relief to all the less important officials from coming to the offices.
The Apex Committee meeting also decided to close hill station Murree for the tourists. However, the ALL Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Alliance’s President Chaudhry Zaheer Ahmed said that their markets would remain open.
