Two dacoits killed in Gojra police encounter

Two dacoits were gunned down, and two escaped during a police encounter in Gojra, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
A spokesman of the police said that four armed dacoits were committing robbery in Link Road, Mochi Wala Road, Chak No. 354 GB in Gojra.
After receiving the report, a police team rushed to the site. After taking notice of the police party, the dacoits started firing indiscriminately.
The spokesman further revealed that police also started firing in retaliation. During the exchange of heavy fire, two dacoits were dead, and two others fled away.
District Police Officer (DPO) Toba Tek Singh also arrived at the scene. The spokesman said that the identification process of the dead dacoits is underway.
