The Federal cabinet meeting has been convened tomorrow (Tuesday). The meeting shall be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan who would be briefed on the status of implementation of the decisions related to the lockdown.

According to details, the Cabinet meeting comprises of a six-point agenda including the approval of the appointment of the Chairman Securities and Exchange Policy Board.

The meeting of the Federal Cabinet shall also review the measures taken due to Covid-19 including its impact on the current economic and political situation, the status of implementation of lockdowns and the future short term and long term projections.

The Cabinet will also approve the taking over of the federal fund and the federal public account. Moreover matters related to the Indus River System Authority, approval the nomination of a member of the Authority's Budget Committee and a member of the Board of Authority under the Islamabad Healthcare Regulations Act and appointment of Chairman Securities and Exchange Policy Board have been included in the Cabinet agenda.
