An accountability court in Islamabad Wednesday heard the assets beyond means reference against former finance minister and senior PML-N leader Ishaq Dar and issued permanent arrest warrants of him again, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Prosecutor Afzal Qureshi and lawyers for the co-accused in the reference appeared before the court.
While hearing the case, the accountability court conditioned the proceedings of reference with the arrest of Ishaq Dar.
“The proceedings of the reference cannot move ahead further until Ishaq Dar is arrested and produced in court,” the court said and adjourned the hearing of the reference till the arrest of Ishaq Dar.
Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir heard the reference.
The court also conditioned the decision on the bail pleas of the co-accused with the arrest of Ishaq Dar.
The co-accused had challenged the reference under the NAB Amendment Ordinance for the second time.
