PIA to begin direct flights between Lahore and Paris

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to begin direct flights between Lahore and Paris.

According to 24NewsHD TV, PIA will begin direct flight between Lahore and Paris on June 18. Initially, PIA will operate one flight per week between Lahore and Paris.

Resumption of this new PIA route will add to the airline’s revenue.

In January this year, PIA inaugurated its first flight from Islamabad to Paris, marking a significant milestone after resumption of flights to Europe. The flight departed from Islamabad International Airport.

This development came after the European Union lifted a four-year ban on the airline in December 2024.

Initially, PIA started operating two flights per week, on Fridays and Sundays, with plans for gradual increases in frequency.
