Four cops die in two road accidents in Karachi

Four policemen died in two different road accidents in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The first accident took place on the Super Highway, in which a driver lost control of a dumper and later it collided with a police mobile van which was parked on a roadside.

The dumper was coming from Hyderabad to Karachi. Soon after the accident, the traffic was disrupted on the Super Highway.

In the second accident, two policemen who were riding a motorcycle lost their lives when an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle near Chakwal Petrol Pump in Karachi.

Rescue sources said that the identification of both the policemen was still under process. The rescue team shifted the dead bodies of the policemen to a nearby hospital.

Police sources said that they started a search operation to arrest the driver, while investigation was still under way.
