Sardar Tahir Sabir appointed as acting chairman of NIRC

The federal government has appointed retired District and Sessions Judge Sardar Tahir Sabir as acting chairman of the National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC), 24NewsHD TV reported. 

According to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development after receiving approval from the President of Pakistan,  Sardar Tahir Sabir has been directed to perform the duties of chairman temporarily until a permanent appointment is made.

Sardar Tahir Sabir has previously served as Registrar Islamabad and is regarded as an experienced judicial officer with administrative expertise in legal and institutional affairs.
