The representative organization of the private educational institutions in Islamabad has decided to challenge in court the Punjab government’s decision to announce summer vacations for schools much before time, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

All Pakistan Private Schools Association (APPSA) said on Monday that it tantamount to playing with the future of the children by closing the schools early.

APPSA President Dr Ibrar Hussain said the number of out-of-schools children was feared to rise due to the frequent closure of institutions.

Dr Ibrar Hussain demanded opening of schools in residential areas.

He said this after chairing an emergency meeting of All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association which was held in F8 Section in Islamabad on Monday.

The meeting expressed serious reservations on the government’s decisions regarding schools.
