Two bandits killed in Sadiqabad, Narowal police encounters

Two notorious dacoits were gunned down during two separate police encounters in Sadiqabad and Narowal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The first incident took place in the jurisdiction of City Police Station Sadiqabad.

A spokesman of the police said that after noticing some suspicious persons who were riding a motorcycle, they signalled them to stop, but instead they started firing on the police.

During the exchange of fire, one dacoit was killed while his other accomplices escaped from the scene.

Later, the police started a search operation to apprehend the accomplices of the accused.

District Police Officer (DPO) Irfan Ali Soomon lauded the police team's performance in carrying out a successful operation.

In another police encounter, dacoit Kafeel alias Sunny was killed by the firing of his accomplices.

The police encounter took place near Samran in the jurisdiction of Shah Garib Police Station. The Crime Control Department team said that the dead dacoit was nominated in more than 40 criminal cases.

He became a symbol of harassment and panic in the area.
