Dengue takes two more lives in Lahore

Dengue continues to take lives of people in different parts of the country as two more persons died from the virus in Lahore during the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Those who died were 81-year-old Waris, who lost his life at Fatima Memorial Hospital and 56-year-old Khalid who lost battle against the fever at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. 

With two more deaths, the death toll from the fever in the city this season reached 16. 

At the same time, 112 more people were diagnosed with the virus in the provincial capital during the last 24 hours. 

The health department teams found dengue larvae at 1,799 places in the city which were eliminated on the spot.
