Amjad Saeed takes over as IRSA chairman

Member Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Punjab Amjad Saeed took over as the Authority chairman on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Saeed will remain the chairman for one year.

Earlier, Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sahibzada Muhammad Shabbir, who remained the chairman for one year, relinquished the charge on the completion of his term.

The IRSA notified the appointment of Saeed.
