PM summons important cabinet meeting on September 21
Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday summoned a meeting of the federal cabinet to be held on September 21, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.
The cabinet meeting will review the political and economic situation in the country. The meeting will discuss important issues including the cancellation of the visit to New Zealand.
The cabinet will be briefed on the right to vote for overseas Pakistanis and on Electronic Voting Machines.
Moreover, amendments to the Ministry of Communications' Rules of Business 1973 are also part of the agenda. The Cabinet will also approve the appointment of Chairman Trading Corporation of Pakistan.
The cabinet will approve the 2021 audit, approve the inclusion of Uzbekistan in the business visa list, and re-discuss the issue of importing films from countries in the region.
The Jammu and Kashmir State Property Budget, Alternative Dispute Resolution Center to be set up in Islamabad, the appointment of DRAP CEO and census proposals will also be presented before the cabinet for approval.
The issue of appointment of members of the Railways Board will be considered in the cabinet meeting. Finally, ratification of the decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Privatization and the ECC is also on the agenda.
