Pakistani cueists Asjad, Awais reach quarterfinals of Mongolia Snooker World Cup 2024

Pakistani snooker players Asjad Iqbal and Awais Muneer have made their way to the quarterfinals of the Mongolia Snooker World Cup 2024 in Ulaanbaatar.

In the last 16 round, Asjad secured a 4-1 victory against Chang Yu Kiu from Hong Kong with scores of 08-89, 74-62 (62), 71-12, 57-46, and 71(68)-24.

Meanwhile, Awais triumphed over Chau Hon Man, also from Hong Kong, with a 4-2 win, posting scores of 44-81, 80-08, 17-65, 88-42, 85(79)-05, and 66-34.

The quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Wednesday, where Asjad will compete against Gao Yang from China, and Awais will take on Iran's Ali Gharahgozlou.
