40 TLP activists set free by court

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday acquitted 40 activists of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A case had been registered against them at Baghbanpura police station in 2021.
In its verdict, the court said that the prosecution had failed to prove charges against the suspects.
TLP lawyers Mian Muhsin and Asri Chaudhry Advocate gave arguments before the court.
