District Monitoring Officer has served show-cause notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat for flouting Punjab Government’s order regarding imposition of Section 144 in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

District Monitoring Officer Umer Maqbool summoned PTI leader to explain his statement, which was tantamount to creating law and order situation in the province.

It is pertinent to mention that Sher Afzal Marwat is popular for his controversial remarks and often PTI leadership is seen distancing itself from Marwat’s remarks.
