Different upper parts of the country received rainfall during the last 24 hours, while the Met Office said it was not over yet as torrential rainfall, with snow over the hills, was expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
It was partly cloudy in Islamabad on Sunday morning, while light rain was expected during the day.
Showers during the last few days led to a drop in temperatures as the maximum temperature was expected to rise to 28 degrees Celsius while the minimum to 21 degrees Celsius.
Breeze was blowing in the federal capital at a speed of eight kilometers per hour.

On the other hand, the Met Office predicted intermittent rainfall for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
