FIR lodged after day-old babygirl kidnapped from Islamabad house

Police on Tuesday registered a first information report (FIR) on behalf of a woman whose day-old babygirl was kidnapped from their house in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Khanna Police Station, Islamabad.
According to the FIR, the infant girl was fed by her mother at 2 am and then she went to sleep, but after passage of 15 minutes when her mother approached the girl again, she became surprised that her daughter was not present at her bed.
In the FIR, the woman stated that she is living with her husband and his brothers. They appealed the residents of the area to help them find the missing girl.
Police started an investigation into the matter.
