Overtrimmed beard triggers fist fight

A bizarre incident occurred in Muslim Chowk, Green Town area of Lahore where a barber and his aides thrashed a man for complaining overtrimming of his beard.

According to details, a citizen Abdul Majeed went to a barbershop for getting his beard trimmed. The barber, Nazakat Ali, overdid his job and overtrimmed the beard of the customer that led to a strong argument between the two.

Soon the matters went out of hand after a heating exchange between the both as they soon resorted to a fistfight.

The aides of the barber also jumped into the fight and gave a thrashing to the customer.

Majeed called at the emergency police number 15 and soon a squad of the Dolphin Force reached the spot.

The citizen complained that the barber overtrimmed his beard and later he and his associates thrashed him for complaining the fact.

However, barber Nazakat said he demanded the citizen of the payment for the service he provided to him and upon his refusal, there was a heated argument between the two.

However, he denied physically attacking the customer and said he did not know who beat up Majeed.

The police party took both into the custody and shifted them to the police station for further investigation into the matter.
