ANF seizes drugs from three passengers at airports

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) held three passengers in a bid to smuggling narcotics and seized drugs from their possession at Islamabad and Lahore International Airports, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The ANF officials recovered 516 grams of ice and 104 grams of heroin from the sandal of a Bahrain-bound passenger. He was the resident of Khyber.
In other operation, a Hangu resident was held at airport and 704 grams of hashish were recovered from the trolley bag. The accused was going to Qatar.
Separately, the ANF in a joint operation with Airport Security Force (ASF) detained a Mirpur resident at the airport and seized 1200 narcotic pills from his possession. He was going to Manchester.
Similarly, ANF and ASF jointly conducted operation at Lahore Airport and arrested a woman, resident of Narowal, and recovered 1kg and 933 grams of ice from her bag. She was going to Bahrain.
Moreover, the ANF officials seized 5kg of hashish from a woman’s possession who was going to Karachi from Quetta.
Meanwhile, in the other operation of the similar nature, 97 kg and 250 grams of hashish and 2 kg of suspected opium was recovered from Quetta.
According to the ANF spokesperson, 4 kg and 8 grams of hashish and 10kg and 7 grams of suspected material were recovered near Chaman bypass.
The accused have been booked in separate cases under Anti-Narcotics Act.
