FIA offloads 23 passengers en route to Malaysia from Karachi
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) offloaded 23 passengers who were going to Malaysia on visit visas through an agent from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
A spokesman of FIA said that these passengers were going to Malaysia on visit visa through flight No. D7-109.
During initial interrogation, all these passengers admitted that they were going to Malaysia for employment purposes.
They further said that they are in contact with many agents for this purpose. These passengers belonged to Karachi, Lower Dir, Mardan, Swat, Bajour, Bannu, Gujrat, and Peshawar.
These passengers did not have enough money for their stay in Malaysia. They failed to satisfy the immigration.
These passengers did not deposit money into banks and were traveling without bank statements.
The agent group was headed by Mohammad Awais. He also admitted that he arranged these visit visas through Waseem Khan and paid the amount through his bank account.
FIA offloaded all these passengers and handed over to the anti-human trafficking circle for further investigation.
