Taylor Swift’s ‘The End of an Era’ docuseries final episodes to stream early on Disney+
Swifties have an early holiday treat in store as the final two episodes of Taylor Swift’s docuseries The End of an Era will now premiere three days earlier than planned.
Disney+ announced that episodes five and six will be available for streaming on December 23 at 12am PT, instead of the originally scheduled December 26 release. The streamer shared the update on X, calling it “an early gift to fans around the world.”
The surprise announcement was accompanied by a teaser offering a glimpse into the upcoming episodes, which will delve deeper into Swift’s personal and professional world during her record-breaking Eras Tour. The footage highlights moments from her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, her elaborate on-stage quick-change routines, and a special performance alongside Sabrina Carpenter.
In one emotional moment featured in the teaser, Swift’s mother Andrea Swift remarks, “Travis Kelce brings a lot of happiness to a lot of fans.” Kelce is later seen appearing on stage during Swift’s London performance of I Can Do With a Broken Heart, as the singer reflects on the overwhelming support from the crowd.
A six-episode behind-the-scenes series, The End of an Era chronicles the making, impact, and inner workings of The Eras Tour, which ran from March 2023 to December 2024. The docuseries offers fans an intimate look at Swift’s life on the road, spotlighting family members, friends, and fellow performers, including Gracie Abrams, Ed Sheeran, Sabrina Carpenter, and Florence Welch.
The first two episodes debuted on December 12, while episodes three and four are set to release on December 19.
Swift’s Eras Tour made history as the highest-grossing tour of all time, drawing over four million attendees worldwide. The unprecedented demand famously crashed Ticketmaster in 2022 and played a major role in propelling Swift into billionaire status through music earnings.
