Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Secretary General Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari has expressed concern over the alleged rigging in the Feb 8 elections, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to media persons outside the parliament in Islamabad on Monday, he lamented that the citizens have forgotten the elections of 2018 after seeing the rigging in the current elections.

“The credibility of the electoral process hangs in the balance, leaving citizens disillusioned.”

He continued that despite emerging as major players in the elections, political parties were hesitant to take up the mantle of governance at the federal level.

"The Pakistan Muslim League-N is internally debating whether to form the government in centre," Haidari revealed.

Haidari added the stakes were high, and no party wanted to shoulder the responsibility alone.

PPP is demanding all the constitutional positions but no one is ready to take responsibility, he said adding that these parties do not have the courage to face the challenges.

JUI-F Secretary General alleged that most of the selected people have come in these elections.

Taking a jibe at Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said Bilawal should remember history.

In the elections of 2018, we managed to get sixteen to seventeen seats and Bilawal should not compare his forgery and cheating with Madrasah students, he cautioned.
